Goalytics is developed and provided by Ilgar Mammadov, an individual developer based in the Republic of Azerbaijan. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the Goalytics Android app.

The app has no accounts and no sign-in. I do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location, and nothing you type into the app is sent to me.
The app shows no advertising of any kind, to anyone, anywhere. It is funded entirely by an optional subscription, which is handled by Google Play. The only outside services involved are Google's, for hosting the football data, reporting crashes and processing payments.
The following never leaves your phone. It is held in the private storage of the app and is removed when you uninstall it:
When the app refreshes its data it calls my server functions hosted on Google Firebase. The only thing it sends is an identifier of the last data version it already holds, so the server can answer whether anything newer exists. It sends no identifier belonging to you or to your device.
As part of handling that request, Google records technical information such as your IP address in its server logs. I do not use those logs to identify anyone.
The app also downloads club and league crest images from the addresses supplied with the fixture data. Those requests go directly to the image hosts.
The app includes software from the services below. Each has its own privacy policy, which governs what it collects:
There are no other third parties. No analytics, attribution, tracking or profiling company receives anything from this app.
The app contains no advertising and no advertising software. Nothing in it reads your device advertising identifier, no advertising or mediation network is contacted on your behalf, and no profile of you is built for marketing purposes anywhere in the world. Because nothing is collected for advertising, there is no advertising consent to give or withhold, and the app shows no consent banner for that purpose.
Earlier versions of the app did include advertising software. If you used one of those versions, information collected then is held by those companies under their own policies; resetting your advertising identifier in Settings → Privacy → Ads breaks any link to your past activity.
The app offers an optional monthly subscription that unlocks additional features. The app is fully usable without it, and the free version is not reduced in any way by the presence of the subscription.
Payment is handled entirely by Google Play. I never see or store your card details, billing address, or any other payment information. Google tells the app only whether an active subscription exists, and provides me with anonymous sales reports in the Google Play Console.
You can view, change or cancel the subscription in the Google Play Store app, under Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges. Refunds are handled by Google under its Google Play policies.
If the app crashes or meets an unexpected error, Firebase Crashlytics sends me a report so that I can fix it. A report contains the point in the code where the failure happened, the app version, the device model, the operating system version, and a random installation identifier that is not tied to your identity.
Google Analytics for Firebase records basic usage events such as app opens, together with device and app version information and a random app instance identifier. I use this only to understand, in aggregate, whether the app is working. It is not used for advertising, and it is not shared with anyone.
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, I rely on the following:
No consent is sought for advertising or profiling, because the app does neither.
I am based in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The services listed in section 3 are operated by companies based in the United States and store data on servers in several countries. Using the app therefore involves information being transferred outside your own country, including outside the European Economic Area.
I keep no database of users, because the app has no accounts. Information held by the services in section 3 is kept according to their own schedules: Crashlytics keeps crash reports for a limited period, commonly ninety days; Google Analytics for Firebase keeps event data for up to fourteen months; and Google server logs are kept for a period set by Google. Information stored on your device remains until you clear the app data or uninstall the app.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Residents of California may in addition ask which categories of personal information are collected and request deletion. The app does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Because the app holds no account and I keep no record that identifies you, I am usually unable to locate data relating to a specific person. The most effective route is to contact Google directly about the services in section 3. You are also welcome to write to me at the address at the top of this policy and I will help where I can.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
The app is intended for adults aged eighteen and over. It is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided information through the app, please contact me and I will act on it.
Information sent between the app and its services travels over encrypted connections. Please note that no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.
Goalytics reports how similar historical matches ended. That is statistical information, not advice, and no outcome is guaranteed. What you do with it is your own decision and your own responsibility.
I may update this policy as the app changes. The revised version will appear here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means that you accept the updated policy.
